How to spend one day in Stuttgart

  2. Grab something from the bakery

  3. Königsstraße highlights

  4. Schlossplatz

  5. Schlossgarten, Stuttgart Operahaus and Schauspielshaus

  6. Old Castle and Old Church

  7. Markthalle + Schillerplatz

  8. Flohmarkt at Karlsplatz (on a Saturday morning)

  9. Choose a quick Museum tour:

    1. History Museum

    2. Art Museum

    3. Staatsgalerie

    4. Haus der Geschichte

  10. Lunch (light meal), choose one:

    1. Food court at Königsbau

    2. KuaiStyle chinese cafeteria

    3. Maultaschen & Käsespätzle shop

    4. Vapiano

    5. Sakura Kaiten sushi (unlimited)

    6. Hans im Gluck

    7. Jojo’s indonesian restaurant

    8. Yangguofu make your own ramen

  11. Do one of the following for the afternoon:

    1. If it happens to be around the time of Frühlingsfest/Volksfest, take the U-bahn to Wasen

    2. Do some afternoon mini hikes up the Stäffle, get rewarded with some nice views of the Kessel-like city (ie Karlshohe)

    3. Visit the Mercedez-Benz Musuem (requires 2-3hrs)

    4. Explore the iconic City Library, and then the Milaneo mall next to it

    5. Explore the big Wilhelma Zoo

  12. Dinner (Swabian): Ochs n Willi

  13. Spend the rest of the night at Schlossplatz (would be amazing during Christmas Market times), or at Feuersee (check if there is an evening concert inside)

  1. A fridge magnet or postcard with the image of Schlossplatz

  2. Something from the Mercedez Benz museum

  3. Something from the Markthalle

  4. Something from the Flohmarkt

  5. Some artwork from one of the art museums

  6. Some handicraft from the VolksFest/Xmas Market if it was in season

  7. A program from the show you attended
