Do one of the following for the afternoon:
If it happens to be around the time of Frühlingsfest/Volksfest, take the U-bahn to Wasen
Do some afternoon mini hikes up the Stäffle, get rewarded with some nice views of the Kessel-like city (ie Karlshohe)
Visit the Mercedez-Benz Musuem (requires 2-3hrs)
Explore the iconic City Library, and then the Milaneo mall next to it
Explore the big Wilhelma Zoo
Dinner (Swabian): Ochs n Willi
Spend the rest of the night at Schlossplatz (would be amazing during Christmas Market times), or at Feuersee (check if there is an evening concert inside)
